The candidate will be working and in all aspects of managing the company's on premise SharePoint and SharePoint Online environments. This includes system administration, second-tier escalation support, troubleshooting, technical support, configuration, performance monitoring, and security. The candidate will be required to be "on-call" outside of normal working hours in order to maintain the company's high standard of service availability, and/or to perform off-hours system maintenance, such as security updates and software upgrades.
Responsibilities:
Support, configure, and monitor the SharePoint environments
Provide critical problem solving and advanced trouble-shooting
Perform SharePoint patching (requires after hours support)
Maintain operational documentation detailing technical environment, farm/site configuration, and support processes.
Ensure data backups are captured and perform recovery tests
Monitoring SharePoint trends (e.g. site usage and growth, disk space usage and growth)
Regular review, cleanup, management and configuration of SharePoint content and sites
Qualifications:
Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Prior experience administering and maintaining SharePoint 2013 farms and SPO tenants.
Experience with CSS, HTML, & JavaScript
Experience investigating and resolving SharePoint performance issues, such as front end web server performance, search & indexing performance, etc.
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2012.
Knowledge of business workflows and understanding of the capabilities of SharePoint Designer
Working knowledge of Central Administration and PowerShell. SharePoint ULS Log troubleshooting and search administration..
