Job Description: 

1 ABOUT THE PROGRAM
MSC continues to invest and lead the world container market with ships, an extensive container fleet, intermodal and dedicated staff for its customers. The Company’s evolution to its leading brand needs consistency to market, and therefore it is paramount to standardise data, processes and management information.
MSC has decided to launch Program OneVision, a commitment led by MSC Geneva, to review their operation and information systems from a central point. Adding or modifying key concepts, technical components and functionalities will allow this Solution to become the unique operational system for MSC Group.
2 THE ROLE
Within the Program Management Office (PMO) Team and under its governance and methodology guidelines, the PMO Associate is to works with Program’s staff and the Development Team to ensure
governance process is followed and projects and other business initiatives are completed on time.

Reporting to the PMO lead, the PMO Associate will handle the administration of PMO process and tools used by staff.
He/she will be, along with the Project Managers and Program Management, contribute to prepare PMO reporting, administrate tools and follow-up actions.
The PMO Associate will manage and facilitate projects.

3 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
3.1 MANAGEMENT
 Administrate program management tools (Ex: SharePoint; Azure DevOps; Power BI)
 Maintain a central storehouse of templates and documentation (SharePoint)
 Maintain guides, templates and project portfolio dashboard and tools to help Project Managers follow the PMO procedure
 Support program monitoring (timelines, deliverables, and implementation)
 Organize meetings
 Create project plans with objectives and milestones
 Ensure proper resources are allocated to meet deadlines and quality requirements
 Proactively escalate solutions to roadblocks
3.2 CONTRIBUTION
 Ensure corporate process and procedures are followed by team
 Support effective communication with program team and all involved stakeholders
 Follow-up required action plans
 Perform audits and PMO reporting
 Assist in governing project risk and issues practice
 Be a contributor in the development of staff training material
3.3 ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
 Deal with transversal issues, be proactive and pragmatic in solution findings
 Exchange regularly with the Application Development Team to keep up-to-date various administrative documents
3.4 FUNCTIONAL AND HIERARCHICAL REPORTING

6 QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
(P) = Preferred, (R) = Required
General: - At least 2 years of PMO or project management experience (R)
- Experience in IT project development (P)
- Qualification in project management or equivalent (P)
- Project Planning and Estimating (P)
- Knowledge in shipping/transport industry (P)
- Knowledge of Agile methodology (Scrum) (P)

Technical: - MS Office Products (especially Excel and PowerPoint) (R)
- Basic programming skills (R)
- Experience of Power BI (R)
- Good experience of SharePoint (Office 365) (P)
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps (P)
- Project management techniques and tools (R)
