Product Specialist to oversee and optimize the implementation, support, and evolution of the Air Cargo IT applications’ landscape, including its main TMS IBS iCargo.
The ideal candidate will serve as the applications’ specialist within the IT department, working closely with various IT teams and the business stakeholders, to ensure smooth operations, configuration improvements, maintenance, developments and integrations
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as the IT subject matter expert (SME) for IBS iCargo and peripheral 3rd party applications, understanding its full capabilities and best practices.
• Collaborate with business users, IT teams, and external vendors to define system requirements, enhancements, and integrations.
• Support the configuration, customization, and optimization of IBS iCargo and peripheral 3rd party applications to align with business needs.
• Analyze and troubleshoot technical issues, ensuring minimal impact on cargo operations.
• Define workflows, automation opportunities, and process improvements within the TMS.
• Assist on UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and support end-users in training and adoption of new functionalities.
• Coordinate system upgrades, patches, and enhancements in collaboration with IT and the vendor.
• Ensure security within the platform.
• Monitor system performance and define KPIs to measure effectiveness and efficiency.
• Stay up to date with IBS iCargo and other suppliers’ roadmap and industry trends to propose continuous improvements."
• Investigate and review business flows and process improvements
• Analyze and describe business requirements and processes in cooperation with the business
• Define correct scope to meet the business needs & expectations
• Create process maps and business blueprints
• Translate the business requirements to business solutions
• Develop, review and improve SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) together with the business
• Develop improved and new business processes
• Functional support activities for the different applications used by the business.
• Daily support via Service Now
• Handle incidents with the necessary priority
• Discuss with stakeholders within IT
• Regular meetings with business users within the MSC Group
• Prepare, test and coordinate system/application implementations/updates/upgrades
• Support IT-colleagues on business aspects (knowledge sharing)
• Inform on the newest processes/applications
• Give training where needed
• Identify automation opportunities
• Collaboration on future-oriented projects
